UK Event Awards announces Custard as a judge as deadline approaches

The UK Event Awards has revealed its list of judges, including Custard Communications, L’Oreal Professional Products and Off to Work, as the deadline for entry looms.

Now entering its fifth year, the UK Event Awards encompass 27 categories, including event agency of the year, experiential event of the year, and marketing/ PR strategy of the year.

The judges are:

  • Alison Williams, head of events at  L’Oreal Professional Products
  • Richard Dodgson, founder and creative director, Timebased Events
  • Emma Barrow, head of events, Somerset House
  • Sophie Allcock, head of communications, Custard Communications
  • Caroline Jones, founder, Miss Jones & Co
  • Jan Booth, managing director, Sunbaba
  • Lynn Lester, managing director of events, The Drum
  • Philip Atkins, managing director, Off to Work

Of the judging, Williams said: “I am looking forward to seeing the level of creativity in this years’ entrants in how they have animated briefs and brought experiential to life in new and innovative ways. I am looking forward to how digital has been used to engage pre, during and post event and how reach has been achieved through the many channels available.”
