The Independent Hotel Show launches business sessions

September 8, 2014 by Petra Clayton

The Independent Hotel Show is pleased to announce the launch of its schedule of seminars and business sessions. Featuring a glitterati of gurus from the hotel sector, the sessions offer the ideal platform for sourcing ideas, insight and inspiration for anyone interested in the independent hotel market.

Taking place at Olympia West, London on October 21 and 22, The Independent Hotel Show will feature two dedicated theatres – the Business Theatre, sponsored by Towergate Insurance and the Innovation Stage, sponsored by MICROS – offering 19 free-to-attend seminars and panel discussions over the two-day show.

Tackling some of the hottest topics in the industry, the sessions provide valuable insight and advice from some of the country’s most respected experts, especially for independent hoteliers eager to build and grow their business.

Master your hotel’s marketing plans with first-hand advice on how to engage and interact on social media delivered by Phillip Newman-Hall, general manager at Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons.

Learn how to add personality to your hotel’s brand, making it stand out from the crowd, with entrepreneur James Lohan, CEO of Mr & Mrs Smith. Also, make sure you don’t miss ‘An audience with Robin Hutson’, your chance to ask questions of one of the industry names of the moment.

Set your strategies for growth as Peter Hancock, chief executive of Pride of Britain Hotels, probes panellists on the outlook for the hotel industry over the next 5 to 10 years, and review the current market in a ‘big picture’ debate lead by Robert Nadler from Nadler Hotels and Julian Troup from Colliers International Hotels. Plus, learn more about the latest in luxury and design and the impact that these touches can make to the perception of your hotel from leading hotel critic, Fiona Duncan of The Telegraph.
