RBH Hospitality Management Bolsters Extended-Stay Portfolio with Double Staybridge Suites Signing

May 1, 2026 by CUSTARD

Leading UK management company, RBH Hospitality Management has been appointed by ParkProperty Europe and its local asset manager, Maya Capital to operate two Staybridge Suites properties in Liverpool and Newcastle, adding a total of 260 keys to their portfolio.

The 128-bed Staybridge Suites Newcastle and 132-bed Staybridge Suites Liverpool expands RBH’s relationship with long-term partner IHG Hotels & Resorts, with RBH now managing over 2,500 keys across 19 of IHG’s UK properties.

The signings build on RBH’s presence in key northern regions, with Staybridge Suites Liverpool marking RBH’s third hotel in the city, while Staybridge Suites Newcastle marks their return to the Newcastle market.

The two properties also strengthen RBH’s position in the extended-stay market as the segment continues to see strong growth, driven by longer stay demand and desire from guests to have apartment style amenities. The new signings complement RBH’s growing portfolio of serviced apartment properties, which includes Staybridge Suites Dundee, The Edinburgh Grand, Abbey Strand Apartments and Old Town Chambers in Edinburgh, Adagio London Sutton, and Station Suites in Middlesborough.

David Hart, CEO of RBH Hospitality Management said: “These signings are a clear reflection of our ambition to continue growing as a business and the strength of our enterprise. This is an exciting period for RBH, and these new signings reinforce our ability to operate high-quality hotels and serviced apartment properties in key UK locations, while also strengthening our valued partnership with IHG Hotels & Resorts.”

Jan-Hendrik Walloch, Managing Director Investment of ParkProperty Europe said: “Following the acquisition of the Staybridge Suites in Liverpool and Newcastle at the end of last?year, we are pleased to have secured RBH Hospitality Management as our new operator. As a highly experienced operator with proven expertise in the long?stay segment we believe RBH will bring a breath of fresh air to?unlock the full value?creation potential of the assets. Alongside our local asset manager, Maya Capital, we are looking forward to a strong and fruitful partnership.”

Britons rethink 2026 leisure travel with more UK breaks as value for money drives travel decisions

Over a third of Britons (37%) plan to take more UK leisure trips in 2026, as travellers rethink how they holiday, according to new research from AA Media.  Though value for money remains the single biggest consideration when choosing where to stay for almost 8 in 10 (79%), the findings suggest consumers are reshaping their travel habits in 2026 rather than cutting back.  43% are choosing UK destinations over overseas holidays this year.
