RBH Hospitality Expands Presence in London through first Hyatt Hotels Signing

July 1, 2026 by CUSTARD

RBH Hospitality Management has announced the signing of its first Hyatt-branded hotel after being appointed by hotel owner, Sun Venture, to manage Hyatt Place London City East.

Hyatt Place London City East is located in the heart of East London, close to the vibrant Brick Lane and Spitalfields Market. The hotel offers 276 rooms, designed for both leisure and business guests, with two fully-equipped meeting rooms and two on-site F&B outlets; Sotto Cucina & Bar and PocketSquare Skyline Bar and Terrace.

The new signing marks a new partnership for RBH with Hyatt Hotels. Further cementing their market leading reputation as it becomes the first UK management company to operate hotels across eight major global brands, building on existing relationships with major hotel groups: IHG Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Accor, Wyndham Worldwide, Radisson Hotel Group and Best Western.

The announcement continues RBH’s strong momentum this year and expands a strong presence in London. Hyatt Place London City East is the 12th property under RBH’s management in the capital, strengthening the business’ reputation as the most experienced third-party hotel management company in the city.

David Hart, CEO, RBH Hospitality Management said: “This signing further underlines the momentum we are building as a business this year. London is a market we know well. RBH has operated over 8,000 rooms in the city over the last 25 years, and London continues to be a competitive and resilient travel destination.

“Strong partnerships have played an important role in our growth story, and we’re delighted to be working alongside new partners Sun Venture and Hyatt Hotels on this property. To be the first management company to operate hotels across all the major brands reflects our reputation and the confidence that owners and brand partners continue to place in us.”

Kok Eng Lim, Head of Real Estate at Sun Venture said: “We are delighted to welcome RBH Hospitality Management as our operating partner for Hyatt Place London City East. RBH emerged as our choice following a careful operator selection process. Their established track record in London and experience across the major global brands gave us confidence in this appointment. We look forward to a successful and long-term partnership with RBH.”

Over a third of Britons (37%) plan to take more UK leisure trips in 2026, as travellers rethink how they holiday, according to new research from AA Media.  Though value for money remains the single biggest consideration when choosing where to stay for almost 8 in 10 (79%), the findings suggest consumers are reshaping their travel habits in 2026 rather than cutting back.  43% are choosing UK destinations over overseas holidays this year.
