The mia announces 25th Anniversary ‘Stop and Think’ Conference on Friday 12th June 2015 at the spectacular BMA House in London.
Next year promises to be a very significant and exciting year for the Meetings Industry Association (the mia) as it celebrates 25 years serving the industry and there are plans afoot for a whole year of celebration. This is a true milestone for the professional body that created AIM accreditation – the industry’s mark of service excellence.
Jane Longhurst, chief executive of The mia, comments: “The determination of the association’s leadership during its 25 year history has given the conference, meetings and events industry an accreditation scheme, industry awards, invaluable research and a voice to government.”
Today, the mia is one of the largest and fastest growing trade associations in the sector, connecting people, ideas and best practice.
Through its history it has gathered some of the brightest minds in the industry to solve business problems and facilitate learning. The 25th year will focus on celebrating the importance of community, knowledge exchange and success.
The conference will provide attendees with an innovative and future-focused view of the industry and will feature keynote speakers and interactive work streams on the topic of marketing, including: embracing and encouraging change, reputation, leading change, internal communication, technology, creativity and brand personality. The day will also provide the opportunity to network with fellow industry professionals throughout the day and into the evening.
