Petra Clayton, chair of the Hotel Marketing Association said: “Being a marketing professional and working in hospitality has been one of the toughest combinations. Throughout the year marketers have had to combine a strong sense of resilience with seamless sensitivity to internal as well as external challenges in messaging. When we see incredible campaigns develop throughout the harshest of years, we should recognise not just those who entered the awards, but every marketer out there who has championed the importance of robust marketing strategies and creativity throughout the pandemic.

“This year the awards really celebrate every marketer in hospitality right now and the shortlist and winners showcase the talent and drive we have in this industry to do great marketing, no matter what the challenge.”

This year’s awards ceremony will take place at St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel on 22 June 2021, providing a valuable opportunity for hotel marketers across the UK to come together and celebrate the success of those shortlisted and the winners who will be announced on the night.
