Foxhills Serves Up New PPR Package

April 16, 2024 by Daniel Otway

Foxhills Club & Resort in Surrey takes on the traditional Day Delegate Rate (DDR) offering with a brand new Padel and Pickleball Rate (PPR) that’s set to bring some racket action to meetings held at the resort.

Foxhills truly believes that bringing colleagues together, forging strong relationships and elevating team morale not only enhances productivity, engagement and cohesiveness, but also paves the way for sustained business success. Fast paced and social, Padel tennis and Pickleball are renowned as two of the fastest growing sports in the world, and Foxhills is proud to introduce three newly opened Padel courts and two Pickleball courts – all floodlit of course.

With mindful mornings and active afternoons in mind, the Foxhills PPR rate of £171 per person* includes full hire of one of Foxhills’ nine flexible meeting spaces for a full day with unlimited coffee and tea, snack break and a two-course buffet lunch to set the team up for an afternoon of action on the courts. After changing in the fitness club’s top-rate facilities, Padel and Pickleball action ensues, with specialist coaches guiding the way and setting the teams up for a few games to nourish that competitive spirit.

Padel tennis is typically played in doubles in an enclosed court and is a cross between tennis and squash, where the ball can bounce off the glass wall or metallic mesh that surrounds the court. Put tennis, badminton and ping pong in a cocktail shaker, and you’ve got Pickleball – the court is about a quarter the size of a tennis court, with a slightly lower net.

The Foxhills PPR rate includes specialist coaching for the whole team, as well as one Pimm’s & Lemonade per person in the bar after the event to toast the winners.
