Custard shortlisted for the 2020 miaList

We are very excited to announce that Custard has been shortlisted for the 2020 miaList team award.

Now in its ninth year, the coveted miaList recognises those individuals and teams who continually go above and beyond, play a pivotal role in making their organisation successful and champion the business meetings and events industry.

Commenting on our shortlist our founder and CEO, Petra Clayton, said: “We are thrilled to be shortlisted alongside some outstanding teams from businesses across the sector.

“The recognition is a worthy testament to the incredible work the Custard team has delivered over the last 12 months for the business, our clients and the industry. Particularly during what has been a very turbulent and challenging time in both the industry and in marketing. Just being shortlisted really is a fantastic acknowledgement that our team works as a robust unit, always striving to demonstrate and share their insight and knowledge with our clients and the industry as a whole.

“We have adapted to provide the additional COVID-19 support, guidance and insight needed by our clients and the industry, as well as continue delivering first-class marketing and PR strategies. This challenge has seen us all expand our skills sets and develop insight-focused communications initiatives to support the industry, including weekly advice emails, a COVID-19 Resources Hub, free marketing masterclasses and an interview series for leaders.

“I’m incredibly proud of what we have achieved as a team and am looking forward to celebrating alongside the brilliant shortlist at the miaList’s virtual ceremony in December.”

Ahead of the shortlist announcement, we were invited to virtually present to judges in early November and produced a video, before being put forward for a weighted online public vote.
