Central London venue Regent’s Events has announced that it has successfully been awarded B Corp certification as part of its long-standing commitment to both sustainability and social impact.
Independently audited by B Lab and assessed across several key areas, including governance, workers, community, environment and customers, the venue scored a total impact score of 104.2 – a score 30% higher than the minimum score of 80 required for certification.
The award comes after a busy 12 months for Regent’s Events, including the expansion of its outdoor offerings with its newest space, the Brassiere Terrace, which offers a relaxed alfresco setting for dining and drinks for up to 120 guests outdoors amid the venue’s already 16,000 square meters of outdoor space.
Dining and drinks have also been upgraded with sustainability and social impact in mind with the appointment of B Corp in-house caterers Houston & Hawkes back in April of this year, bringing together a team of outstanding chefs, sommeliers and mixologists to ensure both exciting and sustainable dining options for events at Regent’s.
Speaking on being awarded B Corp status, Neil Brooke, Director of Food & Drink commented:
“Becoming B Corp certified is more than just a milestone – it’s a reflection of our commitment to using events as a force for good. At Regent’s, we believe unforgettable experiences should also deliver lasting impact – for people, communities, and the planet.
“This ethos extends to all areas of our venue, from our spaces to our teams, and to the food and drink we offer and more, ensuring our values are reflected in every aspect of what we do.”
