Looking ahead to the sizzling final day of The Meetings Show

October 20, 2020 by Lesley Whyte

Event and meetings professionals are encouraged to make the most of the third and final day of the first virtual The Meetings Show by reserving spaces in informative education sessions and arranging valuable meetings with exhibitors.

Headlining Wednesday’s thought-provoking and informative education programme is Fyre Festival’s Andy King. The event planner, known for his ‘above and beyond the job’ attitude, will deliver a keynote session at 3:10pm before answering burning questions put to him by show attendees.

Kicking off the day’s packed programme is a panel discussion everyone in the industry should be able to relate to and find interest in. In Industry fortitude in the face of adversity, panellists Paul Black of London Convention Bureau, Neil Thompson of Delegate Wranglers, Anna Abdelnoor of Isla and Marleen Mason of HeadStart Events, will provide valuable insights on how they have re-skilled, launched and adapted to do things differently and share their most successful achievements and proud moments.

The programme continues with sessions covering topics such as virtual delivery, hybrid events and marketing, and tackling issues like climate change, before King’s keynote.

Visitors are then invited to celebrate the closure of the 2020 show at SongDivision’s virtual happy hour – a fast-paced, music-fuelled online networking party that everyone is welcome to attend.

Day two of The Meetings Show followed in the successful footsteps of day one with more than 1,800 pre-qualified buyers from across the globe attending meetings with the show’s 250 exhibitors, listening and interacting with hours of educational content, networking and watching interviews on TMS TV.

Jack Marczewski, The Meetings Show’s Event Director, said: “We’ve had a phenomenal two days of the virtual The Meetings Show. The interaction between registered attendees on the platform has been incredible and feedback from buyers, exhibitors and other attendees has been hugely positive. The aim of The Meetings Show is to bring the meetings and events community together, wherever they are in the world, and it’s great to see that happening across the platform in appointments, in chat as well as during the education sessions.

“We’re looking forward to the final day of the show, which is jam-packed with top content. Please join us to help us end our first virtual The Meetings Show on a high.

On-demand content from the show will be available to registered attendees two weeks after the event. To register to attend, visit: http://www.themeetingsshow.com/register.
