Leading hotel groups to showcase MICE innovation at The Meetings Show

May 8, 2025 by CUSTARD

The world’s leading hotel groups will return to The Meetings Show – the UK’s leading platform for the meetings and events industry – next month to showcase their MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events) innovations and updates.

The Meetings Show, at Excel London on 25-26 June, offers two days of networking, knowledge sharing and game-changing business for the hospitality and events industry,.

With the global MICE market projected to reach $1.4 trillion by 2028, according to Grand View Research, hotels are increasing and refurbishing their meetings and events space to help capitalise on this growth.

Hospitality giants, including Marriott, Hilton, Melia Hotels & Resorts, Great Hotels of the World and QHotels will be among the 650 suppliers ready to meet event buyers over the two days of The Meetings Show, ready to share news of expanded meeting spaces, upgraded hotel rooms and brand new concepts.

Exhibiting for the first time is South Africa’s largest hospitality company Southern Sun, which has 16,000 bedrooms and conference venues and banqueting facilities?at over 90 hotels and resorts in Africa, The Seychelles and the Middle East.

The group, which operates under 15 different brands, will be on-hand to talk about its recent hotel refurbishments and MICE facilities.

Meanwhile, The Hoxton, operator of four London hotels, will return to the 2025 show with exciting news of its latest take on meetings and events.

The Apartment – found at all four London hotels – is a laid-back, creative meeting space that feels more homely than corporate. The flexible spaces, built for brainstorming sessions, big ideas and intimate dinners, can be reconfigured to accommodate changing needs and are centred around a fully stocked Pantry Kitchen providing F&B.

Others sharing news include Irish family-owned hotel group Carlton Hotels, which has undergone a rebrand and European hotel brand H-Hotels, which has rebranded as Revo Hospitality Group.

Hotel operators will join hundreds of other event suppliers – from venues and technology suppliers to destination marketing organisations and associations – over the two days of the show.

Jack Marczewski, portfolio event director, Northstar Meetings Group, said:
“The number of hotel exhibitors we’ve welcomed to The Meetings Show has gradually increased over the last 13 years and hotels now make up around a third of our exhibitor mix. Together with venues, destinations and all other MICE suppliers who support the show, hotels help  demonstrate the breadth of this vibrant sector and we’re thrilled to provide a platform for them to share their updates and catch up with buyers to help meet their clients’ needs.”

The Meetings Show 2025 will be co-located with Business Travel Show Europe and TravelTech Show.
