Clean the World appoints Custard as its UK PR partner

March 6, 2024 by Georgie Gayler-Thompson

Clean the World has appointed hospitality marketing experts Custard to help build its presence in the UK following global success in the hotel industry.

Pioneering sustainable and social impact solutions, Clean the World recycles soap and plastic bathroom amenities currently discarded by the hospitality industry. Used soap is processed and manufactured into brand new bars to be distributed to people in need through global NGOs, while the plastic amenities can be transformed into flakes and turned into new products, creating a full circular economy business model.

Appointed to elevate the brand’s visibility and amplify its message across the UK hotel sector, Custard will be supporting Clean the World in their quest to lead a global hygiene revolution and help to save millions of lives throughout the world.

Tommie Eaton, Director of Clean the World UK, said: “Having achieved widespread recognition in recent years, it’s an exciting time for Clean the World and we are looking forward to seeing what more we can do to amplify our message further here in the UK. To support this we were looking for a partner who believes and understands our core business values, while also being experts within the hospitality industry, and with Custard we feel we have achieved just that.”

Petra Clayton, Creator and CEO of Custard, said: “Having long followed Clean the World’s inspiring work, we’re immensely proud to be working alongside such a dedicated and ambitious team. The impact the company is making across the globe is truly commendable, and we are thrilled to contribute to their mission and highlight the importance of their work across the UK hotel sector.”
