The mia invites managers and agents to connect over dinner

Event professionals are being invited to join some of the UK’s leading booking agents at the Meetings Industry Association’s (mia) Connect Agent event next month.

The Connect Agent Dinner will take to London on Monday 11 November at 116 Pall Mall to bring together venues and agents in the meetings and events sector outside of regular working hours.

Guests attending the event will be given multiple networking opportunities in an informal setting and will enjoy a dinner following a welcome drinks reception.

During the dinner, each table will be hosted by a different agent, with agents moving tables in between courses to debate the industry’s hottest topics and address delegates’ burning questions.

Agents confirmed so far include:

  • Venue Scanner
  • Venues for Business
  • Seven Events
  • Conference Care
  • Miss London Concierge
  • Veneus and Events International
  • Inntel
  • Right Angle Events
  • Hospitality Guranteed
  • tobook
  • Ellis Salsby
  • Venue Queen

The Connect Agent Dinner is part of the mia’s award-winning Connect Agent series, which has been recognised for its highly sought-after and lucrative networking opportunities within the UK’s business meetings and events industry.

Jane Longhurst, chief executive of the mia, said: “An evening dinner gives busy industry professionals the chance to connect with booking agents outside of regular working hours and allows them to enjoy a productive debate over a dinner and drinks. Feedback is always positive for our Connect Agent events, which are specifically designed to offer the right business opportunities to members.”
