Royal Ale Festival at Royal Windsor Racecourse

By Georgia Ward

This month Custard Communications teamed up with Miss Jones PA to offer Senior Executive PAs the ultimate corporate hospitality horse racing experience at Royal Windsor Racecourse.

With a glass of champagne in-hand, 20 attendees from Deutsche Bank, Ernst & Young, Deliotte and HSBC, amongst others, boarded a French Brothers’ river boat from Windsor Promenade to float gently down the Thames to the picturesque racecourse.

Shortly after arriving at the venue’s private jetty, guests were shown to their exclusive executive box, featuring views of the immaculate track. There they were welcomed by the celebrity tipster, Colin Brown, a former jockey best known for riding the famous steeplechaser Desert Orchid. The group were treated to a VIP behind the scenes tour of the winner’s enclosure, jockey weighing room, starting gates and parade ring all whilst learning the story of the historic course. Colin went on to share his hints and tips for picking a winner. Prosecco and cocktails from the private mixologist flowed throughout the evening and a luxury three-course hot buffet was served in between the exciting races.

Guests delighted in the Royal Ale Festival, which featured stands from Windsor & Eton Brewery and Ringwood Brewery, showcasing a range of tempting local ales to try.

The brand-new Silver Package, enjoyed by the attendees, costs £169pp and includes hospitality box hire, parking, private bar access, race card, Prosecco reception, luxury three course hot buffet menu, mineral water, tea, coffee and treats. Located on the River Thames within 165 acres of stunning Berkshire countryside, Royal Windsor Racecourse offers an alternative networking experience in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
