Mothering Sunday delights at Tylney Hall Hotel

By Natalie Blachford

In the heart of the Hampshire countryside, Tylney Hall Hotel & Gardens provides an elegant setting to show your mother how much you appreciate her this Mothering Sunday.

The beautiful Grade II listed country house hotel is offering a choice of treats for mothers, including a gourmet four-course luncheon in the fine-dining Oak Room Restaurant.

Executive head chef Michael Lloyd has created a prix fixe menu with indulgent delights including truffle scrambled egg on fig toast, 28-day-aged rack of pork with honey mustard glaze and Braeburn apple sauce, and chocolate fondant with peanut butter ice cream and nut crunch. The Mothering Sunday Luncheon is £64.50 per person, including coffee and petit fours.

Alternatively, a luscious afternoon tea with Champagne will also be served in the magnificent Tylney Suite on Mother’s Day, complete with delicate finger sandwiches, scones with preserves and clotted cream and scrumptious cakes and pastries. The Champagne Afternoon Tea is £46.00 per person.

Mothers being treated at Tylney Hall will be able to truly relax, with the hotel providing live entertainment to keep the children occupied while they enjoy their treats, and to complete the day all mothers will receive a surprise gift to take home.
