Luton Hoo Hotel to host Ridgeview dinner for English Wine Week

Luxury mansion house hotel Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa will be welcoming Ridgeview Wine Estate to host an exclusive Gourmet Wine Dinner, in celebration of English Wine Week (26 May – 3 June).

On Thursday 24 May Luton Hoo Hotel will welcome Master of Wine Brandon Barnham from Ridgeview Wine Estate, to present four of the East Sussex vineyard’s finest wines.

The four wines have been specially chosen to pair with each dish on the four-course menu, with an introduction to each from Brandon as well as an interesting insight into the world of English wines.

The menu includes Jersey Royal foam with smoked trout roe and watercress powder, accompanied by Ridgeview’s Bloomsbury Merret Brut; steamed Cornish plaice with Cromer crab mousse, broad bean and heirloom tomato dressing, served with a Ridgeview Cavendish Brut; rump of salt marsh lamb with ewes’ curd, baby gem, peas and Woodall’s pancetta, with Ridgeview’s Blanc de Noirs 2013; and glazed raspberry tart with Fitzrovia Rosé-poached raspberries and mascarpone ice-cream, accompanied by a glass of Ridgeview Fitzrovia Rosé.

Luton Hoo Hotel’s Gourmet Wine Dinner with Ridgeview Wine Estate takes place on Thursday 24 May from 7.30pm. Tickets are £95 per person, including drinks reception and canapés and coffee and petits fours.
