Celebrating the one-year anniversary of re-opening following a full refurbishment, the Mirabelle Restaurant is a popular choice for local diners and visiting guests to the pretty coastal town of Eastbourne. Easter Sunday lunch For a truly memorable Easter Sunday lunch, the team has created a spring-inspired menu with excellent seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients, including stuffed courgette flowers, Sussex Marsh lamb and seafood bouillabaisse. The Mirabelle Easter Sunday luncheon is on Sunday 21 April and costs £45 per person. Heritage seasonal tasting menu Join the Mirabelle Restaurant’s head chef Stephanie Malvoisin on Wednesday 15 May, as she journeys through her food heritage, focusing particularly on her chef training in Dijon, Beaune and Macon, France. The five courses of expertly curated food will include coq au vin, rabbit rillettes and a fantastic French cheese selection, among many other delightful dishes. The Mirabelle heritage seasonal tasting menu is taking place on Wednesday 29 May from 7pm and is £75 per person, including paired wines. Summer seasonal dinner with the Rathfinny Estate Later in the year on Wednesday 11 September, the Mirabelle Restaurant will welcome the local Rathfinny Estate for a late-summer celebration of local produce. Each of the five courses will be matched with wine from the Sussex-based vineyard and winery, the home of award-winning English sparkling wine. The Mirabelle late-summer seasonal dinner with the Rathfinny Estate is £75 per person, from 7pm on Wednesday 11 September Spice evening with Chef Cyrus Todiwala Celebrity chef Cyrus Todiwala returns to The Grand for the seventh year, hosting a ‘spice evening’, on Friday 11 October. A great friend of the Mirabelle, Cyrus will showcase his culinary skills with a series of small plates and informative commentary on the use of spice in his Indian dishes. Complementing the south Asian delicacies, Mirabelle’s senior sommelier Marcin Segrecki will be presenting perfectly paired wines with each course. The Mirabelle spice evening with chef Cyrus Todiwala is on Friday 11 October at 7pm, costing £80 per person.
