Father’s Day Beer Festival at Chilworth Manor

By Megan Trimble

Dads deserve to be treated this year, so spoil them with a trip to the Father’s Day Beer & Family Festival at Chilworth Manor Hotel on Sunday 17 June from 11am to 3pm.

Make Dad’s day with stalls offering a range of real ales and beers, handcrafted in Hampshire from local breweries and spoil him with something new to try. A foodie’s delight is on offer with a scrumptious BBQ, ice creams, popcorn and candy floss.

Then, enjoy a host of entertainment throughout the day as live music from the Osprey Roadshow adds to the bubbly atmosphere. Be sure to stop by the Muddy Bucket Mobile Farm (available between 1pm and 3pm) to meet and pet the miniature horses, miniature Mediterranean donkey, pygmy goats, ouessant sheep, alpacas, chickens, ducks, guinea pigs, rabbits, tortoise and albino pygmy hedgehog.

Keeping the kids entertained, there will be giant garden games, a Nerf gun wall, face painting, a Merlin bouncy castle and even a surf board simulator! Mum and Dad can certainly relax with lots to keep the little ones in high spirits.

For those looking ahead to the World Cup action, there is no fear of missing out as the Costa Rica v Serbia match will be shown in the lounge from 1pm.

Held in the beautiful landscaped gardens, behind the Edwardian Manor House, the family festival will be in aid of local charity, No Limits, to help raise much needed funds to support their admirable work with young people in the community.

Join Chilworth Manor for the Father’s Day Beer & Family Festival by purchasing tickets priced at £5 per person with all children under 16 going free when accompanied by an adult. 50% of ticket sales will be donated to No Limits charity.

To further sweeten the day, tickets booked in advance will automatically be entered in to a prize draw to win four tickets to the outdoor cinema screening of ‘Top Gun’ on Friday 31 August.
